There are a number of imminent changes to the provision and location of sexual health clinics in both Hampshire and Surrey from the 1st of July 2017, as a result of recent competitive tender processes.

The attached letter from Hampshire County Council includes information on important changes to the provision of sexual health clinics in both Hampshire and Surrey from the 30th of June 2017, including the closure of the GUM Clinic at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. Community Pharmacy Assurance Framework (CPAF) process 2017/18

NHS England are looking to follow the same process as last year with the initial screening questionnaire being available for completion by contractors between the 12th June and 9th July.

This training is provided to spread the availability of the very succesful pilot conducted over the past 12 months within West Hampshire, and will enable pharmacists to have patients with newly prescribed anticoagulants directly referred to them from the prescriber, with the aim of increasing the number of NMS interactions with this important patient cohort.
